My name is Mal Hamilton and this is my web site where you can view my art.
 I am passionate about colour and whilst living in Western Australia I drew my inspiration from the outback by incorporating the richness of the red oxide and yellow ochres against a clear cobalt blue sky into my version of the Australian landscape.
Although I work predominately in acrylics I also like the challenge of trying out different mediums and styles and new ideas.
Having recently moved back to Tasmania the historic town of Oatlands is where I now call home and a converted building in the garden is now my studio and creative space. My art is my passion as I paint with what I feel and not always what I see and have taken this approach to another level by challenging my imagination by combining the vibrant colours of the  outback into the Tasmanian landscape.
I have exhibited in various exhibitions and currently have works on display in the local art and craft gallery.
