I am an emerging artist with limited art training. I enrolled in an arts course at Launceston College of TAFE combining ceramics, sculpture and life drawing which enabled me to create my own individuality. My first experience with colours was working in oils and I soon discovered my own unique style which allowed me to express my ideas on canvas. I soon made the transition to water-colours and then to acrylics as I was amazed by the range of beautiful and vibrant colours.
I have recently moved back to Tasmania after spending 15 years in Western Australia. The historic town of Oatlands in the Southern Midlands is now my home and a large converted shed in the garden is my studio and creative space.
My art is my passion as I paint with what I feel and not always what I see and have taken my art to another level by challenging my imagination by combining the vibrant colours of the outback into the Tasmanian landscape.
I have exhibited in various art exhibitions and currently have works on display in the local gallery.
